Comments: The lavender-purple flowers appear in pairs in spring with a few scattered ones in summer. May be cold damaged in zone 8, but will return from protected roots. Grows well on fence, trellis, arbor, or pergola structures. Beautiful glossy foliage. This vine clambers over anything in its path using long tendrils to capture the next object, although the growth is quite manageable.
