Comments: This is a clumping bamboo that produces handsome golden culms with bold green stripes of varying widths up the stems. The markings are sometimes considered to be beautiful Oriental brush painting. Reported to be quite drought sensitive so keep the soil moderately moist at all times. A very fine bamboo for ornamental plantings.
