Comments: The white berrying Christmas berry is not nearly as common as the red berrying Christmas berry. However, the conditions for growing the white selection are the same. Plants do best in partial shade in a moist soil rich in humus. Self-seeding is common. In areas subject to severe freezes, grow this selection in a container and provide winter protection. In areas where plant grow well occasional hard freezes will kill plants back to the ground, but they return the following year, but will not produce berries the first year after freeze injury.
