Comments: Although technically classified as a perennial torenia are normally treated as an annual. They are self-seeding if soil conditions are favorable and produce an abundance of blooms in spring and early summer. Provide morning sunlight and a well drained soil for best results. Torenias grow well in containers and in time they grow so large that they spill out of most containers as they continue to produce flowers. Deadhead old spent flowers to encourage more bloom.
