Comments: A grass that forms a compact, narrow, erect, 3 foot tall clump of foliage and in summer has finely-textured, reddish-pink flower panicles. Color varies with cultivar and some are beige in fall and last into winter at which time the foliage turns yellow and provides good winter interest. In late winter or early spring, cut the old foliage back to the ground.
