This plant similar to M. grandiflora in growth and region of adaptation. Grow in humus rich, organic soil and do not allow to dry out. The white, fragrant flower is tinged with pink or red and open in spring. The only magnolia that may have a red flower. Purplish-red fruit are present in summer.
