Comments: This is a relatively new introduction of liriope. It produces excellent wide blade foliage and spikes of purple flowers during the summer following by black berries in late autumn and winter. Some liriope cultivars can have serious fungal and bacterial plant pathogens. Cut back liriope in late winter periodically to remove old browning foliage.
