Comments: Flowers ordinarily white, but a pink selection is also available. Grows fairly well in wet, acidic, peaty soils. May not be fully evergreen in unprotected positions but holds its leaves through much of the winter. Excellent relatively small, native tree. Often found growing in small colonies that are produced from suckers from large specimen plants. 'Berry Pink' and 'Chipola Pink' are pink flowering cultivars.
