Comments: This is a relatively easy to grow clump-forming ornamental grass which tolerates a rather broad range of growing conditions from sandy to clay soils. Best to provide a moist, well-drained soil and full sunlight. Flowers and foliage are weak in shade. Cut back old foliage and flowers in late winter just before new growth begins. This selection produces foliage that turns orange-red in fall, but fades following freezing temperatures.
