Comments:
Lychee has been grown for its edible fruit in China for many centuries. It is a tropical and subtropical fruit native to China and now cultivated in many part of the world. The fresh fruit has a delicate, white pulp with a perfume flavor that is eaten fresh because the flavor is lost in canning. The red or pink fruit are about two inches long and a little over one inch across. This fruit is eaten in many dessert dishes, especially in China.
