Comments: This ornamental fig is grown for its huge pleated leaves. It is native to the highland of New Guinea. This tropical cannot tolerate freezing temperatures. Makes an excellent specimen to conservatories and other glass houses where temperatures can be regulated. Grows best in a moist, fertile soil and direct sunlight for several hours during the day.
