Comments: This is a low-growing shrub/perennial that covers the hillsides in dry landscapes of the West Coast. It produces narrow, leathery,fine-textured foliage that is covered for much of the year by balls of pale pink flowers that turn brown and stay on the plant for an extended period. It is a drought tolerant plant. Butterflies and other insects are attracted to the flowers.
