Comments: This Elephant Ear makes clumps of large, coarse-textured leaves in the shape of cups. This cultivar produces black stems. Bulbs cannot tolerate hard freezing temperatures but are relatively easy to over-winter with a minimum amount of protection from freezing temperatures. Makes an excellent container plant for summer accent in the garden. Plants grow quickly once soil temperatures rise above about 60 degrees F. Provide a moist, fertile soil for best performance.
