Comments:
Hypericums are nicely adapted to the cooler parts of the country where they will grow in full sunlight to relatively heavy shade. They are normally low-growing shrubs that are easy to manage in the landscape. Flowering is best where plants receive morning sunlight. Provide a moist, well-drained soil, although plants will tolerate some drought. 'Albury Purple' is a highly recommended cultivar because it produces purple berries which are used by flower arrangers.
