Comments: This tight rosette of basal, succulent, chartreuse colored leaves makes an excellent container plant. After flowering the parent plant dies but new plants arise from stolons which spread from the dying parent plant. Provide full sunlight and a fast-drained soil. Grows well in rock gardens, in dry walls and other places where there is thin soil. It was once a favorite plant for rooftop gardens because the houseleek was reported to ward off lightning.
