Comments: This evergreen produces stout triangular thorns (actually modified branches0 in opposing pairs along the main stems. It makes for interesting conversation in the garden, but plants should remain away from close proximity to people because of the tangled mass of thorns. Easy to grow and can tolerate moderately wet to dry soils but requires full sunlight for best growth. This plant does not have leaves. It produces small, white, mildly fragrant flowers.
