Comments:
Grows from Labarador to Alaska and southward at high altitudes of the mountains areas even those in North Carolina and Tennessee. A large shrub or small tree up to 25 feet in height. Flowers not showy and seeds are a reddish samara which are mature in late summer. Requires a moist soil and cool summer for best growth.
