An extremely rare tropical tree that can reach a heigth of about 40 feet, but is seldom more than 14 feet. A relative of the Japanese Yew. It must have warm and very humid conditions for growth. Less than 100 individual plants are know to exist. It is a conifer and very few seed are reproduced in cones.
