This selection is easy to grow provided that the grower understands that it can not stand heat, sunlight, poor drainage and drought. Can be kept very low with judicious prunings. Left unpruned, it can grow to 15' in height and its spread is generally greater than it heigth. Considered by many to be at the top of the list for needled evergreens.
