A prostrate, dwarf shrub selected for its unusual spreading form as well as its superior blue color. Slow growing and attains a height of 10' or more only after many years of growth. It has forest green needles with silvery blue stripes which emerges light green in spring. Used in rock gardens and foundation plantings. Showy red catkins are present in late spring.
