Comments:
Has many small, white flowers. Fruit is at first green, then yellow and finally red to purple when fully ripened. This perennial is gererally about 1-2 tall and is unbranched. The dark green foliage resembles that of Parlor Palm. Does best in filtered shade to shade, although it will grow in part shade. The root system is a rhizome and spreads to form colonies easily.
