Comments:
This specimen tree is often pruned and appears to be more like a shrub than a tree. Outstanding autumn color is a special feature of this maple. The small leaves are heavily veined. Makes a beautiful specimen plant in the garden. The parent tree is reported to be the only native maple to the British Isles.
