This trunkless succulent has variegated, spinlesss, sword-shaped leaves that are 4-7 feet long. Green leaves have a decorative creamy band occurs down the center. Infrequently, a flower stalk reaching to 25 feet tall is produced and has strongly-scented, greenish-white flowers. After flowering, pups are produced at the plant's base and it dies.
