This annual was not widely grown until about the year 2000. It is sometimes bothered by fungus diseases that attack the root system. To improve drainage plant in a raised bed or in containers that have a sandy, porous soil. Need sunlight, especially during the morning hours. Blooms look very much like very small petunia flowers.
