Comments:
This drought tolerant plant is treated as an annual almost everwhere it is grown. It can become quiet large and reach a height of 8 feet or more. The onange-red flowers in summer and fall attract butterfiles and hummingbirds. Greatest number of flowers are produced in autumn before frost. Surviving the winter in zone 5 has been reported, where it comes back from ground level. This is a rugged, large growing plant that is easily grown.
