Blue Mist Spirea has medium powder blue flowers in summer that attract butterflies. There are other cultivars that have darker colored blue flowers. Where freezes occcur, it will be killed to the ground, but will return as spring arrive. The creamy white, papery seed can be attractive in the winter landscape. It is drough tolerant.
