This herb is closely related to the Marigold. It is valued as an herb by the chefs in the Southwest. The orange flowers are showy against glossy, dasrk green leaves. It is fairly hardy and generally flowers only where winters come late. It can grow up to 4-5 feet tall when not hit by freezing temperatures.
