This biennial herb is probably one of the most widely use ones. Not only is it popular in cooking, it is also used as a garnish. Does not overwinter in areas wheres the temperature drops below 20 degrees F. for lenghty periods and does not tolerate temperaturesa above 90 degrees F. Its foliage is very high in vitamines A, B, C, and in iron and calcium.
