Mades a medium to large shrub that behaves more as a climber, clambering through the trees and shrubs. However, with just a little pruning and training it can easily be trained into an attractive small tree or large garden shrub. It can be encouraged in its clambering habit to cover pergolas or other structures. It is sometime successfully grown in the l ower have of zone 8 where temperatures do not go below 25 degrees F.
