Comments: This plant is in constant bloom when the weather is warm, having showy clusters of red, tubular flowers from sping into fall. It should bloom constantly where the climate is frost free. Hummingbirds feed on its nectar and butterflies are very attracted to its flowers. It a native of Mexico and possibley part of Texas. It grows well in a container. It recovers and flowers quickly ater any necessary pruning.
