Comments: This species is not cold damaged as is K. bipinnata. This tree will grow in dry soils and is tolerant to urban conditions. It flowers in summer and the yellow flowers are quickly followed by green seed capsules that turn brown within a short period. Foliage turns a golden yellow in autumn.
