Comments: This is a relatively slender growing palm that produces a dense crown of striking recurving, grayish colored fronds. This palm is somewhat similar to the Canary date palm but grows more slender and the fronds are more recurving. This palm is reported to be a fast growing selection once it is well established. Also has rather good tolerance to light freezing temperatures.
