This is a relatively new Japanese holly that produces an upright pyramidal form and dark green, dense, compact foliage. Do not overwater any member of the Japanese holly group. They cannot tolerate wet soils. Plant in full sunlight to partial shade and well drained soil. This selection will make an excellent hedge of moderate height.
