This is a relatively new introducton that produces a dwarf form with ruby-red leaves. There are many cultivars of the fringe flower that have been widely used in recent year. They are easy to grow, but most will grow much taller than most people exoect, so the more dwarf forms hold a lot of promise for gardeners who want small sizes like the Daruma variety.
