Comments: Statice is among our most popular flowers for drying because during the drying process they lose very little of their natural color. Although actually perennials, they are often grown as annuals. In the northern part of the country seeds are planted in early spring, while in the South seeds are planted in late fall. Statice is an excellent seaside plant because it tolerates salt spray quite well.
