Comments: This is a relatively slow growing tropical vine that is well suited for growing in containers indoors, although the plant needs some natural light for best growth. Older mature plants will produce clusters of light pink to nearly white stark shaped flowers that are slightly fragrant. The hoyas are well suited for growing in raised containers because the vines can trail over the sides. It is reported that hoyas are very susceptible to nematodes in the soil, so this is another reason to grow them in commercial soil mixes that are free of nematodes.
