Comments: Strawflowers or paper dasies as they are sometime called are actually classified as perennials but are normally grown as annual cutflowers. They produce an abundance of papery flowers during spring and summer and make excellent cutflowers. They can be dried and they retain their color well. Remove fading flowers to encourage repeat blooming. Strawflowers grow best in full sunlight and a slightly dry soil.
