Comments: This boxwood is reported to be gaining popularity in the upper South where it grows best because of its attractive, narrow, dark green foliage. Its spring foliage is quite soft. It makes an excellent hedge planting for small garden spaces where detail is important. This boxwood does best if given morning sun and protected from hot afternoon sun. Keep boxwood plants mulched and do not cultivate close to plants because of their shallow roots.
