Comments: This maple has pink and white variegated foliage during the spring and summer. It produces handsome red color in leaves during the fall. The stems can also be creamy white. Provide a moist, well drained soil and a position that is protected from hot, drying winds, especially in the Lower South. Makes a nice understory tree. Fertilize maples in late winter or early spring.
