Has red flower buds and pinkish-lavender flowers. Well adapted to container culture. Used as a small foundation plant, in mass plantings and as a specimen plant in small garden areas. Generally does not grow much over two feet in containers, but may get twice that hieght in garden locations with excellent growing conditions.
