Comments: This is a striking stocky specimen palm that is noted for clusters of bright red berries that hang below the major crown of the six foot fronds in late autumn and winter. This palm grows well indoors in large containers and planters. It is quite cold sensitive and is subject to having lethal yellowing disease that has killed many palms in Florida and other warm parts of the country.
