Comments: This is a self-seeding annual that is a popular spring flowering wildflower along highway rights-of-way, especially in the South. Very large acreage can be seeded for a relatively small budget. This plants helps to build soils by adding nirtrogen back to the soil. It is also planted to aid in erosion control on steep slopes durinng the winter and spring months.
