Comments: This shrub has several characteristics that are very similar to the southern gardenias. The glossy green foliage and white flowers are surely gardenialike. This shrub is quite cold sensitive and must be reserved for warm climates if planted outdoors. This shrub often has a problem with sooty mold and scale insects.
