Comments: The primary features of this deciduous tree are the prominent fuzzy buds and emerging new growth on bare branches in the late winter and early spring. As with all willows there is a lot of dieback with many twigs and branches falling from the tree during the year. Autumn color can be quite striking. This tree tolerates a wide range of growing conditions from moderately wet to dry.
