Comments: This plant is often classified as a sub-shrub and performs more like a perennial in most landscapes. The wiry, green branches are rough and scalelike and grow upward but after a couple of years they begin to lean over and form a nice draping quality when used in raised plantings like planters or at the top of retaining walls. Also nice in hanging baskets. The coral colored tubular flowers are one inch long. Butterflies and hummingbirds are attracted to the flowers.
