Comments: This is an old southern Indian azalea that has been growing at Rosedown Plantation Historical Site at St. Francisville, LA for many years. Plants have an open, rangy character and flowers are about three inches across and appear in late winter through early spring. It is one of the earliest azaleas to bloom in the spring.
