Comments: Is a vigorous grower and has wine colored foliage which is in high contrast to the whitish inflorescences looking like a bottlebrush are produced in summer and fall. Use as a specimen, accent, in group plantings and in containers. This ornamental grass should be cut to ground level before new growth begins in spring. Birds eat the seeds it produces.
