Comments: Leaves are bipinnately compound. Yellow flowers in fall are soon followed by hot pink seed pods that are spectacular in the autumn landscape. The pink fades from the pods and they become tan, then brown and each holds two to four black seeds. The tree usually has brilliant autumn color. Scales inscets are infrequently a problem.
