Comments: A very large fern that is killed in hard freezes when grown in the garden without protection. Cannot tolerate bright summer sunlight. Seems to do best under the canopy of trees that give some protection from sunlight and freezes. Provide a fertile well drained soil for best growth. An application of fertilizer in spring and again in summer will encourage more growth of this tropical.
